What is the difference between extract and split?

Extract lets you specify exactly which pages go into one new document. Split divides the PDF into multiple documents — either every page, custom ranges, or even chunks.

What is the range syntax?

Enter page numbers separated by commas and use hyphens for ranges. Example: 2-5, 8 extracts pages 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 into the new PDF.

Is there a maximum number of pages I can extract?

No. You can extract any number of pages up to the total page count of the document.

Is the original file changed?
